SoTalent is seeking a senior-level cloud engineering leader to define and drive the technical vision for an enterprise-scale cloud platform. This role will lead transformational initiatives across a large, multi-account cloud environment, influencing long-term platform strategy and enabling secure, scalable, and efficient cloud adoption across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute a multi-year cloud platform strategy in partnership with technology leadership and product stakeholders
- Architect scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure for complex enterprise use cases
- Establish and evangelize platform standards, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices
- Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple engineering and infrastructure teams
- Design and manage advanced multi-account landing zone architectures with strong governance
- Build enterprise-grade infrastructure-as-code frameworks using TypeScript, Terraform, and native cloud tooling
- Architect and deliver modern serverless and event-driven solutions
- Lead hybrid cloud integration strategies connecting on-premises and cloud environments
- Partner with security, network, and compliance teams to implement governance and risk controls
- Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders, elevating platform maturity
- Represent the platform function in executive technical forums and strategy discussions
- Drive large-scale migration, modernization, cost optimization, and FinOps initiatives
Requirements:
- Deep expertise in cloud architecture, platform engineering, and large-scale cloud environments
- Extensive experience with multi-account governance, networking, security, and hybrid connectivity
- Advanced programming skills in TypeScript and strong Terraform expertise
- Proven success influencing enterprise-wide standards and platform adoption
- Strong background in cloud security, IAM, compliance, and governance frameworks
- Hands-on leadership approach with the ability to solve complex technical challenges
- Professional-level cloud certifications or equivalent expertise
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application patterns
- Exposure to observability, cost management, disaster recovery, and multi-region designs
- Background in enterprise architecture or large-scale transformation programs
