Entegee is a company that specializes in engineering solutions, and they are seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer to collaborate with client stakeholders and project teams. The role involves reviewing engineering designs, leading design and oversight of piping systems, and providing construction-phase support.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and project teams in a fast-paced environment to define design requirements
- Review engineering designs, specifications, drawings, and construction documents, providing feedback and recommendations
- Drive design and construction packages through the review and approval process
- Interface with client personnel, site teams, and project stakeholders throughout project execution
- Develop and review construction documents for complex manufacturing tools and facility infrastructure
- Lead design and oversight of piping systems for water, wastewater, process chemicals, and gases
- Perform engineering calculations, including equipment sizing, system design, and specification development
- Support retrofit projects and integration of systems into existing facilities
- Provide construction-phase support and assist with system integration into manufacturing operations
- Act as process/mechanical representative on a multi-disciplinary design team
- Edit client engineering standards and specifications
- Review P&IDs, layout drawings, equipment plans, vendor submittals, RFIs, and related documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited University
- At least 2 years of practical application of chemical/mechanical facilities engineering, including ultrapure water, chemical distribution, gas distribution, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, waste drains, pumps, tank storage/design and related chemical/mechanical facilities systems
- At least 2 years of design project delivery processes experience
- At least 1 year of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms
- Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD software
- Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Passion for buildings and construction
- 1 year field experience
- EIT or PE license
