Ediphi is a cloud-based estimating and preconstruction solution company that aims to streamline the preconstruction process for general contractors. They are seeking a high-energy Sales Development Representative to lead outbound sales efforts and convert prospects into qualified meetings for the Account Executives.
Responsibilities:
- Own outbound prospecting into target account lists, ENR Top 400 general contractors, self-perform contractors, estimating teams, and more
- Cold call, email, and LinkedIn message the right stakeholders — chief estimators, VPs of Preconstruction, Directors of Estimating — and open conversations about what Ediphi can do for their business
- Run pre- and post-event follow-up for marquee industry conferences, including booth scans, warm handoffs from leadership, and targeted sequences to convert event conversations into booked meetings
- Partner with Account Executives on territory and account strategy, ensuring every meeting is qualified and set up to advance
- Maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce and Outreach, giving RevOps the clean inputs needed for forecasting and attribution
- Develop real fluency in how GCs run preconstruction — quantity takeoffs, conceptual estimating, bid leveling, historical cost data, self-perform vs. subcontracted work — so you can have credible conversations with senior estimators on day 30
- Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly meeting and pipeline targets
- Share what you learn from the field back with Marketing and Product to sharpen messaging and ICP targeting
Requirements:
- Passion, curiosity, and a go-getting attitude. Character is everything
- Comfort with high-volume, high-quality outbound — you know the difference between activity and results
- Strong written and verbal communication; you can write a cold email a chief estimator will actually open
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn Salesforce, Outreach (or similar), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and prospecting tools such as Apollo or ZoomInfo
- Self-directed and organized — this is a remote role at a Series A company
- Curiosity about the construction industry and a genuine interest in learning how general contractors build buildings
- 1+ years in an SDR, BDR, or customer-facing sales role (SaaS preferred)
- Experience selling into construction, AEC, or industrial audiences
- Background at a construction technology company (BuildingConnected, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Sage, Trimble, or similar)
- Experience using AI tools to research accounts, personalize outreach, or automate parts of the SDR workflow
- Previous experience in an SDR fellowship or sales development program (SalesBootcamp, Pave, etc.)
