Systems Engineer, Junior

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to combine technical skills with big picture thinking to impact national security. The role involves developing IT systems, supporting planning and execution of IT transitions, and creating positive stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of IT Infrastructure, including HW and SW
• Ability to support planning, development, and operation of IT systems
• Ability to support planning and execution of IT transitions and evolutions
• Ability to perform project management functions, including planning scope, schedule, cost, and risk
• Ability to create and maintain positive stakeholder relationships
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Requirements:

• Knowledge of IT Infrastructure, including HW and SW

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with business process reengineering, managing IT systems, and integrating information assurance concerns into system solutions
• Knowledge of the intelligence community, their missions, and enabling IT Infrastructure systems and government acquisition processes
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or Engineering
• IA Workforce Certifications, such as Security+ or Network+
