Key Responsibilities
- System Configuration & Maintenance: Configure and support SAP Financial Management modules, specifically Public Sector Management (PSM-FM), Funds Management (FM), and General Ledger.
- Government Compliance: Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) guidelines.
- Financial Operations: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and complex month-end/year-end close processes.
- Budget & Fund Management: Support budgeting, forecasting, allotment, and appropriation tracking within SAP.
- Integration & Support: Manage interfaces between SAP and other systems, providing functional support and troubleshooting for end-users.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and present financial data and reports for auditing purposes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in SAP FICO, with specific experience in government, public sector, or federal implementations.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA financial modules, particularly Funds Management (FM) and Project System (PS).
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of governmental accounting principles (GASB) and federal acquisition regulations (FAR).
