As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects that align with the company's business objectives, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams and a solid understanding of project lifecycles.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with stakeholder requirements
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and task assignments
- Monitor progress to ensure timely delivery within budget and scope
- Apply lean principles and project management methodologies to drive efficient execution
- Partner with hardware and software teams to coordinate tasks and track dependencies
- Support the integration, testing, and deployment of project deliverables
- Assist with vendor coordination and ensure quality standards are met
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, sales, and operations teams to achieve project goals
- Collaborate with security and legal teams to ensure new features and products meet compliance and regulatory standards like PCI, SOC2, GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders and keep teams aligned on timelines and priorities
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and KPIs to measure progress
- Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders
- Identify risks and escalate issues proactively, recommending solutions where possible
- Contribute ideas to improve project workflows and team efficiency
- Share lessons learned and support knowledge-building within the team
- Plan and coordinate software releases with engineering and DevOps teams to deliver new features
- Compose, maintain, and update user guides related to new features or products
- Coordinate pilot launches with customers, diligently tracking and actioning issues found
Requirements:
- 3–4 years of project management experience in technology or product development
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365
- Experience with Jira Dashboards and Jira Plans
- Experience coordinating hardware or software development projects
- Understanding basic networking, computer hardware, and operating systems (Linux, Windows, Android, iOS)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience is highly preferred with payments, point of sale systems, and PCI compliance
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, CSP, PSM, ITIL or related certifications strongly preferred
