Role Summary
Owns the end-to-end architecture across Databricks, Fabric, and Power BI. Ensures the Enterprise + Customer workspace model, mirroring strategy, and semantic layer are scalable, secure, and aligned with business use cases.
Key Responsibilities
Design and govern end-to-end data architecture:
Databricks → Unity Catalog → Fabric (OneLake) → Power BI
Define and enforce:
Semantic Layer and use respective Fabric/Databricks technology to support and maintain Enterprise and Customer workspace
Own data access patterns:
Mirroring vs Direct Lake vs Import vs DirectQuery
Establish performance strategy:
Dataset design, aggregation, concurrency handling
Ensure security architecture:
Unity Catalog + Fabric + RLS/OLS alignment
Define CI/CD pipelines (Dev → ACC → Prod)
Validate architecture against use cases and scalability
