About this rolePosition Overview:
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and adhering to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. This role plays a key part in creating an enjoyable atmosphere and ensuring a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities:
• Greeting guests promptly and courteously; take beverage and food orders as needed.
• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
• Maintain an organized and clean bar area, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Manage cash transactions, balance cash drawers, and accurately process credit card payments.
• Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service.
• Restock bar inventory and supplies such as glassware, garnishes, liquors, and mixers.
• Maintain product knowledge of current drink offerings, specials, and promotions.
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen, and management to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
• Follow all company policies, including safety, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol service.
• Assisting with clean up and breakdown of event spaces after the event concludes
• Performing any other tasks assigned by leadership
Experience:
• Preferred: One (1) year experience as a high-volume bartending or relevant experience
• Preferred: Two (2) - Three (3) years’ experience bartending/serving
• Preferred: ServeSafe Alcohol, TIPS Certification or equivalent
Schedule:
• Days and start times TBD based on business needs; weekends and holidays required
• 1-2 days work week
• Seasonal
• Flexibility to work hours needed based on event schedules
Compensation:
• $20.00 per hour
Environment:
• Varying temperature controlled environments
• Outdoor temperatures/weather conditions based on events/business
Skills:
• Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 40-55lbs.; standing, bending, lifting and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature controlled environments;
