Manufacturing Engineer, Test Engineering, Rack Integration

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in manufacturing.
• 5 years of experience in embedded software or test automation with Python.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience setting up manufacturing assembly processes, driving product launches and assembly process optimization within manufacturing operations.
  
• Experience with developing manufacturing test hardware using electronics, fixturing, and instrumentation.
  
• Understanding of networking fundamentals in PCIe, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
• Ability to generate product-specific test plans and execute testing accordingly.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000-$209,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing test development for hardware designs to support machine learning (ML) data center products.
• Define the manufacturing test strategy for products and work with partners to develop test solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy test platforms for Google's manufacturing partners.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and root cause manufacturing yield issues and field escapes, driving issues to closure with preventive measures and documenting debug processes and findings.
• Develop automated test software for functional tests, conduct code reviews, and debug test failures.
