Connect Tech+Talent is seeking an Information Technology Project Manager to lead and manage technology initiatives for the Division of Child Support. This role involves system modernization and strategic planning, ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects through collaboration with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design, development, and implementation of information system transformation projects
- Provide strategic direction for IT initiatives within the Division of Child Support
- Define and align business and technical requirements with stakeholders, product owners, and scrum teams
- Manage large-scale enterprise IT projects as well as smaller initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, vendors, and business stakeholders
- Ensure project governance frameworks and monitoring controls are in place
- Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget
- Mentor and guide state personnel in project management practices
- Support knowledge transfer and capability building for internal team
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of child support program policies, procedures, and operations
- Proven experience in child support system modernization projects
- Demonstrated success managing complex IT projects
- PMP certification or equivalent project management experience
- Expertise in project governance, risk management, and delivery frameworks
- Experience working with multiple software development methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, DevOps
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Experience working with government or public sector agencies
- Familiarity with enterprise IT transformation initiatives
