PingPong Payments is a leading cross-border platform on a mission to digitize trade and simplify global growth for businesses. They are seeking a Senior Manager of Business Development to originate, develop, and close new enterprise opportunities within the payments ecosystem while managing complex sales cycles and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and secure partnerships with high-value enterprise clients, including but not limited to large marketplaces, digital platforms, and major smart device / EV makers businesses
- Execute a go-to-market strategy targeting end-to-end payment enablement opportunities including acquiring, issuing and B2B payments
- Build solid relationships across multiple levels within the organization of the enterprise clients and become the go-to person
- Manage complex negotiations with C-level executives to establish long-term strategic partnerships
- Identify new verticals and emerging payment trends to expand market reach
- Analyze competitive positioning and develop value-driven propositions tailored to enterprise clients
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and sales strategies for acquiring and issuing solutions
- Partner with Product, Compliance, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of payment solutions
- Drive sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue growth tracking in alignment with company targets
Requirements:
- 6+ years of relevant and progressive work experience in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships within payments, fintech, or cross-border payments
- Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, including cross-border payments, acquiring, issuing, or B2B payments
- Exposure to large corporations from previous Payment/Banking or Business Development careers
- Proven track record of closing large, complex deals and exceeding revenue target
- Educated with a relevant degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen
- Ability to drill down, persistence, and a never-give-up spirit
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute high-impact business development strategies
- Strong consultative sales approach and experience negotiating with enterprise C-level executives
- A master's degree is a plus
