Automotive Claims Customer Service

Endurance Warranty Services is a rapidly growing company recognized for its excellent workplace culture and customer service. They are seeking a Customer Service Mechanical Claims Specialist to handle inquiries about vehicle service contract coverage and claims processes, while managing workflow and documentation according to established procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze information in the Vehicle Service Contract and claims system to advise customers of the appropriate benefit amounts
• Request and distribute internal information to aid the Claims Adjudication Department
• Answer phone and email inquiries and provide information and explanations on the various levels of contract coverage and claims processes
• Manage workflow, process, and complete all requests and documents according to established procedures
• Be a team member, work effectively in a friendly team environment
• Being interactive and communicative with management and co-workers in a visible manner is an essential function of the job; therefore, camera usage is required for training, team meetings, and meetings with management
• Other Job Duties, as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum High School graduate or GED is Required
• Strong organizational and customer service skills, the ability to problem-solve and multitask, and detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy in data entry are required
• The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to communicate effectively with contract holders, agents, dealers, internal staff/upper management and customers
• Proficient working on a PC, working knowledge of MS Office, able to learn new programs quickly, type at least 35 wpm, and document information while discussing the claim over the phone
• The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to pass a pre-employment background check
• Call center experience preferred
• Automotive Service Department experience is preferred. Warranty Administrators, BDC Representatives, Automotive Cashiers/Receptionists, and Service Writers are also encouraged to apply
