Business Analyst

Global Technical Talent is a minority-owned staffing firm supporting a leading financial institution's mortgage default operations. The Business Analyst IV role focuses on internal and external audit governance, supporting action plans in the mortgage default space, while collaborating within a dynamic team on various project deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Research GSE audits and maintain current knowledge of audit requirements
• Issue management (ensuring action plan deadlines are met, conducting lookbacks, supporting remediation)
• Support a very dynamic and fluid team serving the line of business with changing priorities and project needs
• Interact with internal stakeholders to align on project deliverables and audit timelines
• Prepare analysis from data to share with senior executives
• Participate in approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of meetings daily as needed for assigned projects
• Have access to customer data and maintain strict confidentiality and compliance protocols

Requirements:

• Mortgage default industry knowledge (not origination side)
• Issue management and action plan tracking
• Default investor guideline knowledge
• Excel proficiency including formulas and formatting
• Strong communication skills at an executive level
• Ability to adjust to change
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of overall experience
• Background in default mortgage industry (not origination side) or audit operations
• Foreclosure experience
• Bankruptcy knowledge
• Experience creating analysis from data for senior executive review
