Remote Senior Fortinet Network Engineer

Insight is a company focused on providing managed services in IT infrastructure. The Remote Senior Fortinet Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain Fortinet network solutions while supporting multiple clients and ensuring the security and reliability of their network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy Fortinet network solutions, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
• Configure and manage Fortinet devices to ensure optimal performance and security
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with clients to understand their network needs and provide tailored solutions
• Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
• Stay up to date with the latest Fortinet technologies and industry trends
• Provide training and support to clients and internal teams on Fortinet products
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Fortinet products
• Experience with Fortinet Manager, Fortinet Analyzer, BGP Routing, Fortinet Switches, FortiAP, Fortinet FW (FortiGate), Fortinet Firewalls
• Experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with network security best practices and protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fortinet certifications (e.g., NSE4, NSE5, NSE7) are a plus
• Demonstrated experience with vendor technologies such Cisco Meraki, Cisco Systems, Fortinet, F5, Juniper, and Palo Alto
• Demonstrated professional to expert level technology and support experience for route/switch, security, wireless, etc. and maintains one or more professional level certifications
