Booz Allen Hamilton is focused on leveraging cloud capabilities to solve complex challenges. They are seeking a Mid-level DevOps Engineer to develop, manage, and secure a container platform, using the latest cloud technologies to improve client environments and ensure seamless orchestration.
Responsibilities:
- Develop container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges
- Support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process
- Recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers
- Continue to strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience working with deploying cloud resources on AWS
- 2+ years of experience building and supporting DevOps tools and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- 2+ years of experience with containerization, building images, and orchestrating deployments on Kubernetes with Helm, including writing custom Helm charts
- 1+ years of experience with automation tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- 1+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code deployments, including with Terraform
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelors degree and 2+ years of experience in DevOps, or 8+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree
- Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISSP, or GSEC Certification within 4 months of start date
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana, FluentD, and Kubernetes deployment orchestration tools, such as ArgoCD, or Flux
- Experience with the design, deployment, and management of Cloud environments, including AWS or Azure
- Experience with using or migrating CI/CD pipeline solutions or tools, including Jenkins, Git, or TeamCity
- Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
- Experience with scripting in Java, Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby, and leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
- Knowledge of cloud and virtualization-based technologies, including Docker, Azure, or VMware
- Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions, and foundational system administration principles
- Knowledge of container security technologies and evaluating, mitigating, or resolving vulnerability findings
- Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation
- Kubernetes Certification
