Synopsys Inc is a leading company in chip design and verification technologies, seeking an experienced sales professional to drive optics product-line growth. The role involves collaborating with various teams to achieve sales goals, develop strategies, and maintain business relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Directing optics product sales activities for new and renewal business, achieving or exceeding assigned product and service revenue goals
- Collaborating with field and enterprise sales teams, as well as channel partners, to develop and execute strategies that drive product and service revenue
- Contributing effectively at every stage of the sales process, from opportunity identification to closing
- Uncovering opportunities in both current and new accounts for specific products or solutions, and handing over leads to the direct sales team
- Facilitating communication between sales and technical teams regarding product capabilities, success stories, and winning strategies
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business
- Participating in industry shows and conventions to network and expand market presence
- Creating and leading advanced solution presentations tailored to customer needs, highlighting Synopsys’ advantages over competitors
- Coordinating technical support for demos, proofs of concept, evaluations, and training sessions
- Developing clear and effective written proposals, quotations, and value propositions for customers
- Providing client feedback to product development and marketing teams to inform future enhancements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in technical, engineering, business, or related field, with 6+ years of sales or consulting experience in engineering/technology applications; OR 8+ years relevant experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the assigned product market position
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering analysis and technology solutions
- Proficiency in sales fundamentals and consultative selling techniques
- Ability to work interdisciplinary with multiple teams and hierarchies within the organization
- Autonomous, proactive approach with managerial guidance as needed
- Strong collaboration skills, particularly with globally distributed teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, enabling tailored solutions for customers
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and executive presentation skills
- Strong networking abilities to drive new contacts and maintain business relationships
- Ability to coach and mentor others
- Fluent in English and the local language of the territory
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
