About this role
Curinos empowers financial institutions with proprietary data and technologies to enhance decision-making. The Senior Engineer, Data Engineering will design and implement data flows for SaaS solutions, collaborating with client and technical teams to ensure operational excellence and efficient data integration.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable ETL pipelines capable of processing large, complex datasets
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL performance to ensure reliability and efficiency
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in ETL, data exchange APIs, data mapping, and data cleansing
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across all layers of the platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client onboarding and platform enhancements
- Provide production support during business hours as part of an on-call rotation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, ticket grooming and release activities
Requirements:
- Hands-on Experience with modern big data technologies such as HDFS, Spark, and Databricks
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and toolsets, including Python, Databricks SQL, and YAML
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and data modeling
- 2+ years of experience working with big data platforms
- Experience supporting production systems and resolving operational issues
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, intellectually rigorous environment
- Experience working within an Agile/Kanban development process
- Familiarity with third-party marketing and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving technologies
