As an IT Project Management Advisor, you will manage complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget while collaborating with various stakeholders to drive continuous improvement across transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Overall management, tracking, and reporting of complex cross-functional, project-oriented work efforts, ensuring that portfolio projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and remain aligned to the strategic objectives of IT and the Business
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ensure rigor of program/project execution, transparency into work at all stages of delivery, and enable informed decision making by providing a fact base for decisions and insights
- Collaborate and facilitate initiative/Program Epic level communication and meetings with TPO’s, BPO’s, Engineers, Scrum Masters, and other leaders to assure full alignment
- Define delivery plans, schedules, identify dependences, solutions to business problems, and provide updates as priorities and schedules change
- Effectively partner with business and technology teams and negotiate conflicting priorities
- Work with cross functional teams to document, track, and report on dependencies and escalate as necessary
- Manage risk mitigation and contingency plans
- Drive activities to achieve aligned goals
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, and status reports
- Conduct necessary meetings and is responsible for schedule and status tracking
- Conduct presentations regarding project status to cross functional IT teams and business stakeholders
- Support and participate in PI planning sessions and work with TPOs/Engineers to determine Feature Target Completion Dates for committed capabilities
- Work with project impacting cross-functional teams to ensure system testing is performed and accomplished in line with the acceptance criteria
- Ensure E2E test requirements are identified with test leads so we can plan/execute/track End to End testing progress/status
- Provide assistance to junior IT team members with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems knowledge
- Mentor team to improve their understanding and skill and ensure they are familiar with resource materials available
- Ensure adherence to project management process and project documentation standards
- Must be self-directed, have a strong affinity for defining work in deliverables, and be willing to commit to deadlines and work on special initiatives as assigned

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of IT work experience, including 2 or more years of managing complex projects
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and facilitate cross-team discussion
- Experience leading projects with multiple delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative)
- Extensive experience with aligning stakeholders and communicating information that enables leaders, teams and stakeholders to have transparency on the underlying issues and potential solutions in varying settings including workshops, small group sessions or one-on-one meetings
- Comfortable with technical and project management terminology and concepts
- Able to interact, partner, and provide thought leadership with comfort and ease
