Catalight is a foundation focused on supporting individuals with diverse needs, and they are seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager for their Academy. This role involves supporting marketing strategies to enhance audience growth and course enrollments, executing campaigns, and improving learner engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of marketing plans aligned to enrollment goals
- Execute paid and organic campaign testing, including content, messaging, and audience targeting
- Monitor performance metrics and recommend improvements
- Write and deploy digital ads, email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional content
- Support course launches, live events, and key enrollment periods
- Partner with instructors and internal teams to align messaging and promotional timing
- Help map and improve the learner journey from awareness to enrollment
- Develop targeted email nurture sequences and re-engagement campaigns
- Support audience segmentation efforts to tailor messaging to professional groups
- Support adherence to brand standards across Academy channels
- Create Academy social media assets, including video, GIFs, and photography with timely, audience-focused messaging
- Research marketing opportunities and assist with execution planning
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in a Marketing or Communications role
- Must be able to communicate effectively within the work environment, read and write using the primary language within the workplace
- Visual and auditory ability to work with clients, staff and others in the workplace continuously
- Frequent speaking and listening (25-75%) to clients, staff, and others in the workplace
- Utilize computer and cell phone for effective communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), with a high level of expertise in PowerPoint
- Proficiency using project management software such as Monday.com to maintain organizational transparency
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and a working knowledge of HTML
- Proficiency in utilizing and manipulating photography and graphics for website and social media posts to amplify our community's voice
- Service-oriented and flexible with a track record of providing excellent customer service
