CorroHealth is focused on transforming the revenue cycle through automation and expert teams. The Business Analyst role involves analyzing operational initiatives, creating business requirements, and developing reporting tools to enhance business performance and support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- The Business Analyst, under general direction, is responsible for analyzing, identifying, and owning operational initiatives and ensuring efforts are focused on business critical, business improvement, and financially beneficial activities
- Job duties include collecting all operational initiatives
- With the input of leadership, this role will determine the prioritization of initiatives, taking into account the company’s goals and ROI
- Job responsibilities also include creating succinct business requirements for our reporting applications and analytic teams and creating ad-hoc financial and operational reports as-needed
- Job requires providing executive-level status updates
- Data Model Development
- A. Perform requirements elicitation for analytics and reporting initiatives supporting RCM performance, client (internal & external) reporting, and operational decision-making
- B. Translate healthcare business needs into clear and well-structured functional and technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- C. Hypothesize and develop analytical approaches for identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets
- D. Identify and recommend opportunities for data modeling optimization
- Reporting Portfolio Production/Maintenance
- A. Develop reports, dashboards and visualizations to help key stakeholders understand and manage business performance
- B. Develop, maintain, and scale reporting tools
- C. Curate report portfolio/presentations for RCM operations leaders and client stakeholders regarding findings and insights
- D. Identify and recommend opportunities for report production optimization
- Data Governance/Quality
- A. Support standardized definitions for key RCM metrics, KPIs, and reporting conventions
- B. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across recurring and ad hoc reporting
- C. Proactively identify gaps, risks, and dependencies related to data, workflows, or compliance
- Project Management
- A. Inform management critical risks/issues
- B. Use corporate and/or industry naming guidelines and standard abbreviations
- C. Leverage analytical skills and time management skills to ensure that all requirements are accomplished within established timeframes
- Customer Service
- A. Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver high-quality reporting and analytics within established timeframes
- B. Respond to ad hoc requests in a timely manner with follow-up questions and estimated delivery dates
- C. Communicate and validate requirements with key stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive analytical experience, including experience with data visualization and presentation, supporting healthcare, analytics, or revenue cycle initiatives
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to operational, clinical, technical, and executive audiences
- Strong understanding of data management concepts, principles, and industry best practices
- Advanced level proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas)
- PowerPoint
- BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- AI, CoPilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar
- Working knowledge of SQL sufficient for creating/optimizing queries and stored procedures
- Experience developing, automating and analyzing reports and generating conclusions from available information
- Expert data gathering, analytical and data visualization skills
- MS Office advanced proficiency
- Highly self-motivated, self-directed with strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

- Experience working with Epic or Meditech
- Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes, including billing, coding, AR, denials, self-pay, and appeals
- Strong understanding of healthcare data structures and reporting workflows
