EverCommerce is on a mission to digitally transform the service economy with tailored SaaS solutions. They are seeking a talented and experienced BI Engineering Manager to lead and optimize their Business Intelligence engineering team, overseeing the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions while driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of BI engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring professional growth and skill development
- Develop and implement the BI strategy, aligning with the organization’s business objectives and driving improvements in data analysis and reporting capabilities
- Oversee the delivery of BI projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of BI solutions, including data warehouses, data models, and ETL tools
- Work closely with data engineering, data product managers, and other stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable BI solutions
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data within BI systems, implementing best practices and industry standards
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance BI capabilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in BI engineering or related roles
- 2+ years in a managerial or team lead position
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling
- Proven track record in managing and mentoring a team
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in managing projects using methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master's degree
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
