Farmers Insurance is seeking a Product Management Leader to own the product strategy, people leadership, and business value delivery for the enterprise Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This leadership role directly manages the Product Owners for each M365 product pillar, driving measurable business value and serving as the internal champion of the modern digital workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Own the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for all M365 product domains, aligned to Farmers' enterprise priorities
- Provide strategic oversight across all M365 product pillars: Communication — Exchange Online, SMTP Relay, mail flow, Teams Chat & Calling; Collaboration — Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business; Productivity — Microsoft 365 Apps, Outlook, Loop, Planner, Viva Insights & Engage; AI & Automation — Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse); Identity, Compliance & Security — Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, Intune, DLP, AIP, eDiscovery; Wireless & Mobility — Intune MDM/MAM, mobile device lifecycle, wireless carrier contract management, MDR and billing
- Assess Microsoft's evolving roadmap for feature impact, governance implications, and adoption opportunities across Farmers' Corporate and Agency tenants
- Drive standardization, governance, and best practices across all M365 pillars
- Directly lead and develop the M365 Product Owner team — one PO per product pillar — with clear accountability, operating rhythms, and performance expectations
- Coach Product Owners on backlog management, roadmap communication, KPI tracking, and stakeholder engagement
- Establish career development pathways and growth plans for each direct report in partnership with HR and Modern Work leadership
- Lead ART planning, PI ceremonies, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops across M365 pillars
- Ensure Product Owners manage team-level backlogs in alignment with ART-level roadmap priorities
- Define, track, and communicate KPIs across all M365 investments — including platform reliability (uptime, MTTR), productivity gains, adoption rates, cost avoidance, and licensing efficiency
- Build a business value framework that connects M365 feature delivery to measurable employee experience and operational outcomes
- Design and execute enterprise change management and adoption strategies for M365 tool releases — including communication plans, training programs, and stakeholder engagement
- Partner with HR, Internal Communications, and Business Unit leaders to build cultural readiness for platform changes
- Oversee the Farmers Learning Hub and M365 training resources to ensure employees can maximize platform value
- Serve as the internal voice of Microsoft 365 — evangelizing capabilities to business stakeholders, people leaders, and executive audiences
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across IT, Claims, Service Transformation, Finance, HR, Legal, Architecture, and the AI Council
- Serve as the primary product liaison between Modern Work, business stakeholders, and the Microsoft account team and external partners
- Represent Modern Work product strategy in ARB, CAB, and governance reviews, ensuring M365 platform changes are properly reviewed, risk-assessed, and communicated
Requirements:
- 7-10 years Product and/or Operations Management experience or related experience required
- 7+ years of product management experience, with 3–5+ years in a senior or lead role managing enterprise M365 platforms
- SAFe Agile certification (SAFe PM/PO, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent) with hands-on ART leadership and Lean Portfolio Management experience
- Deep expertise across the M365 product stack, including: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 Apps, Microsoft Copilot (M365 Copilot and Copilot Chat), Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, Dataverse), Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, Intune, and related governance/compliance tools
- Demonstrated people leadership — directly managing Product Managers or Product Owners, with a track record of building high-performing teams
- Strong change management and adoption experience — including adoption strategy design, communication planning, training, and stakeholder engagement for large-scale M365 rollouts
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- SAFe Product Manager Certified within 180 days of hire required
- 2 years experience in PM II or similar role preferred
- 5-7 years leadership experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
