Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Management Consultant to support Early-Stage Solar Engineering & Construction (E&C) initiatives for one of the world s largest renewable energy construction organizations. This role will work closely with the Solar Regional Lead Project Manager to manage solar projects through the pre-construction phase, ensuring each project is technically feasible, financially viable, and ready for successful handoff to the construction team.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of assigned solar projects during the early-stage development process
- Manage projects to ensure they are technically feasible, schedule-compliant, commercially supported, and financially viable
- Analyze technical and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop, maintain, and manage capital budgets for assigned projects
- Support development and permitting activities by coordinating with internal subject matter experts
- Assist with engineering coordination, problem resolution, and optimization opportunities
- Support development of construction plans and schedules
- Participate in commercial contract negotiations and execution
- Utilize multiple software tools to manage project data, deliverables, and reporting
- Communicate project updates to executive leadership with guidance from senior management
- Maintain team organization, project documentation, and readiness for project transitions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering
- 6 10 years of relevant project management experience
- Strong financial analysis and capital budgeting experience
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Experience in solar, renewable energy, or construction projects
- Understanding of technical and mechanical project variables
