Enterprise Architect

Austin, Texas (Onsite) Locals only

Long term Contract

Skill Cluster: Google Cloud Platform Infra - Native.

Primary Skill: Cloud Build, Cloud Google Cloud Platform, Terraform

• 14+ years of Enterprise Architecture experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred).

Proven experience in the following areas:

• Cloud transformation strategies and modernization roadmaps.
• Enterprise DevOps transformation.
• Enterprise-wide governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Technical due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
• Mentoring solution architects and technical leads.
• Collaborating with C-level executives and board-level stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Google Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Management

Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform enterprise services and multi-project architecture:

• Google Cloud Resource Manager and Google Cloud Organizations.

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Terraform and Google Cloud Deployment Manager.

Expertise in security, governance, and compliance:

• Google Cloud IAM, Security Command Center, Google Cloud Audit Logs, and Organization Policy Service.Data, DevOps, & Compute

Enterprise data and analytics platforms:

• BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.

DevOps and CI/CD practices:

• Cloud Build and Cloud Deploy.

Workload design and deployment:

• Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Cloud Run.
• Networking & Modernization

Hybrid cloud and networking:

• Cloud VPN and Cloud Interconnect.

Application & Migration Strategies:

• Application modernization (monolith to microservices).
• Containerization and serverless architecture.
• Migration strategies (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting).
• Cost optimization and performance tuning.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

• Experience with Big 4 consulting firms or large system integrators.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies:
• AI/ML using Vertex AI.
• IoT architectures and platforms.
• Experience with industry-specific regulatory frameworks across multiple domains.
• Relevant Google Cloud Platform Certifications:
• Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
