Description:
Position: Manufacturing Engineer I - Assembly
Location: Horicon, WI 53032
1st Shift: 1st shift: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Spend approximately 50% of the workday on the shop floor supporting production activities and resolving operational challenges.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address production issues in real-time.
- Provide direct line support to production teams and ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including updating management on project progress and key issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Support current production needs through: Project implementation, Running changes, Product design support, Quality and safety improvements
- Utilize and maintain knowledge of assembly processes and tooling, with a preference for experience in torque tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Operate a Gator within the facility after completing required training.
- Travel between facilities using a personal vehicle for meetings, as required.
- Adhere to PPE requirements, including metatarsal safety shoes from day one.
