Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior PeopleSoft / Oracle
Applications Administrator / Architect with strong Oracle DBA
consulting expertise to lead the design, administration, and
optimization of enterprise HRMS/HCM and Financial (FCM) systems.
This role requires a hybrid professional capable of handling
application architecture, system administration, and database
management across PeopleSoft and Oracle environments. You will play a
critical role in ensuring system reliability, scalability, security,
and performance while driving modernization and cloud adoption
initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
Define and implement architecture for PeopleSoft HCM, HRMS, and Financials (FCM)
Lead system upgrades, cloud migrations, and digital transformation initiatives
Establish best practices for performance, scalability, and security
Create long-term technology roadmaps aligned with business goals
PeopleSoft / Oracle Applications Administration
Administer PeopleSoft HCM/HRMS and Financial modules (GL, AP, AR,
Procurement, etc.)
Manage PeopleTools upgrades, PUM images, patching, and lifecycle management
Support multiple environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues
Oracle DBA Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c+)
Perform database upgrades, patching, and migrations
Manage RMAN backups, recovery strategies, and disaster recovery plans
Configure and support Data Guard, RAC, and replication technologies
Ensure database availability, integrity, and performance
Performance Tuning & Optimization
Analyze and tune application and database performance
Optimize SQL queries, indexing, and system resources
Use AWR, ASH, ADDM, and monitoring tools for diagnostics
Implement capacity planning and performance improvements
Integration & Middleware
Design and support integrations using Integration Broker, APIs, web services
Collaborate with middleware and development teams
Ensure seamless data flow between HCM, Finance, and third-party systems
Cloud & Infrastructure
Lead migration and management of systems on cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure)
Optimize infrastructure, storage, and compute performance
Implement high availability, failover, and disaster recovery solutions
Security & Compliance
Implement role-based access controls for applications and databases
Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements
Conduct audits, patching, and vulnerability assessments
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT leadership teams
Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
Mentor junior administrators, DBAs, and developers
Provide production support and incident management
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
10–15+ years of experience in PeopleSoft administration and Oracle DBA roles
Strong expertise in:
PeopleSoft HCM / HRMS (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management)
PeopleSoft Financials (GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Procurement)
PeopleTools, Integration Broker, Application Designer
Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c+)
RMAN, Data Guard, RAC
Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills
Experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows environments
Knowledge of reporting tools (BI Publisher, nVision)
