Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP BI Consultant with 10+ years of expertise in SAP BI/BW and S/4HANA technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable BI solutions, ensuring high performance, data accuracy, and adherence to SAP best practices. Federal project experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop reporting solutions using HANA Studio, CDS Views, Analytic Queries, and BEx Queries
- Build reports using SAP BusinessObjects tools (Analysis for Office, Analysis for OLAP, Web Intelligence)
- Develop and support S/4HANA UI5 and FIORI applications using BOPF framework
- Create high-performance solutions using AMDP and SQL Script
- Troubleshoot and optimize BI reports and tools for performance and accuracy
- Develop and maintain extractors and ETL processes for SAP and non-SAP data sources
- Design routines (start, update, transfer) and manage data loads using InfoPackages and Process Chains
- Perform data validation, debugging, and performance tuning
- Support data migration and historical data backfilling
- Ensure timely transport of BI objects to production with quality standards
- Maintain documentation for all developments and enhancements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions
- Provide training and support to BI users
- Work closely with BASIS and DBA teams for system performance and optimization
Required Skills
- 10+ years of SAP BI/BW experience with strong S/4HANA knowledge
- Expertise in HANA modeling, CDS Views, and BEx Queries
- Experience with SAP BusinessObjects tools (WebI, Analysis tools)
- Strong knowledge of ABAP, AMDP, and SQL Script
- Experience with FIORI/UI5 and BOPF
- Hands-on experience with ETL, extractors, and process chains
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
- Federal/Government project experience
- Strong understanding of SAP BI architecture and best practices
