A New Beginning-Genesis 2 is a USA Defense Company seeking Electrical Engineers with a strong background in the Defense industry. The role involves designing and conducting engineering experiments, collaborating across multifunctional teams, and supporting military communication products throughout their lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to design and conduct engineering experiments and act upon test results
- Ability to select alternate electronic components and know what testing is required to qualify them

- Design, develop, and debug software applications for control/automation of test and measurement equipment using NI LabVIEW and Test Stand

- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, calibrates, aligns, assembles and operates equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings

- Electrical rough order of magnitude (ROM) and basis of estimate (BOE) creation
- Experience in DFX analysis and implementation for volume manufacturing

- Experience purchasing parts or equipment in support of engineering (P-Card responsibility preferred)
- Experience reading schematics and datasheets, probing circuits and understanding proper circuit operation
- Experience requirements management Software and tools (e.g. DOORS)
- Experience with Configuration Management software (Agile preferred)
- Experience with Configuration Management software and tools (E.g. Agile)
- Experience with new product development across electrical and other disciplines (electrical, software, systems, printed wiring boards, testing, etc.)
- Experience with RF Communications systems (ASICs, PLLs, DACs, Amplifiers, and/or Power Supply circuitry preferred)
- Experience with RS-232, Ethernet, USB, TCP/IP

- Monitoring daily factory yields, investigating failures, and determining corrective actions

- No required but preferred software experience, such as LabVIEW but open to any software
- Organize, analyze, and interpret large data sets from varying sources using automation where feasible. Develop reports from this data to represent and communicate product performance
