Space Dinosaurs builds fast, high-converting ecommerce experiences for the world's top brands. They are seeking a Lead Senior PM to drive the strategy, execution, and delivery of complex digital product initiatives within the E-Commerce and Retail domain for their customers, managing large-scale digital experience programs and coaching Product Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead large, complex programs or portfolios with multiple work streams and cross-functional teams
- Oversee delivery across projects, ensuring:
- Scope, timelines, and budgets are managed effectively
- Delivery aligns with client business goals and KPIs
- Risk assessment and mitigation strategy definition
- Act as engagement leader, accountable for:
- Delivery quality
- Financial performance (margin, utilization)
- Client satisfaction and outcomes
- Lead digital initiatives such as:
- E-Commerce platform implementations and replatforming (e.g., Shopify, Magento, custom stacks)
- Omnichannel retail experiences
- Checkout optimization, merchandising, and personalization
- Partner with clients to modernize digital storefronts and improve conversion and customer journeys
- Leverage analytics (GA, Adobe Analytics, etc.) to inform product decisions and optimize performance
- Support end-to-end product strategy and delivery for large-scale E-Commerce and Retail initiatives
- Contribute to product vision, KPIs, and success metrics aligned to business outcomes such as conversion, revenue, and customer experience
- Lead product discovery efforts, including user research, requirements definition, and roadmap creation
- Balance strategic thinking with execution, ensuring both high-level alignment and detailed delivery excellence
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Product Managers
- Provide coaching across:
- Product discovery
- Agile execution
- Stakeholder management
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and retention
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (Director+ / Executive level)
- Lead:
- Strategic discussions
- Roadmap alignment
- Escalation management
- Translate business needs into scalable product solution
- Partner closely with Engineering and Architecture teams to:
- Define scalable solutions
- Estimate scope and delivery timelines
- Facilitate technical discussions and challenge assumptions when needed
- Work across Design, Data, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
- Support sales and pre-sales efforts, including:
- Solution design
- Estimation and proposals
- Statement of Work (SOW) creation
- Contribute to practice growth, including:
- Delivery best practices
- Process improvements
- Hiring and team development
Requirements:
- 8–10+ years of experience in Program/Project Management, Product Management, or Digital Delivery
- Proven experience leading large-scale Agile software delivery programs (15+ team members)
- Strong background in E-Commerce and Retail digital products
- Experience managing client-facing engagements and executive stakeholders
- Deep expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban
- Backlog management and prioritization
- Product lifecycle (discovery → launch → optimization)
- Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tag Managers)
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into product solutions
- Manage ambiguity and complex delivery environments
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with AI tools to assist in deliver of product features or personalization
- Experience with modern web technologies (React, Next.js, Node.js)
- Background in Retail, Omnichannel, or Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) environments
- Background in Consulting or Technology Services
- Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Product Management
