GoFormz is a company focused on modernizing and scaling QA practices through intelligent automation and AI-powered tooling. The AI QA Automation Engineer will design and maintain automated test frameworks, integrate AI tools for test generation and defect detection, and collaborate with various teams to ensure a high-quality user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design AI-augmented automated test suites across web and mobile applications
- Maintain and improve current Playwright test suite
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, LLM-assisted test generation) to accelerate test script creation and coverage
- Identify and implement opportunities to apply AI/ML to defect detection, anomaly identification, and test prioritization
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve test reliability and speed
- Analyze test failures, apply AI-assisted root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues
- Write and triage defects with clarity, distinguishing showstoppers from backlog items
- Support pre-release testing, software deployments, and on-call alert response
- Evaluate and integrate third-party AI-powered QA tooling (e.g., QA Wolf, AI-driven test platforms)
- Proactively research emerging AI testing methodologies and champion adoption across the engineering team
- Partner with the team to continuously raise the bar on test coverage and quality standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Playwright; familiarity with Appium a plus
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to enhance testing workflows
- Familiarity with LLM-based test generation, intelligent test selection, or AI-driven QA platforms
- Experience with JIRA and writing clear, actionable bug reports across web and mobile
- Strong ownership mindset — takes initiative, works well independently and in teams
- Adaptable and able to context-switch across issues; strong time management skills
- Eagerness to stay current with the rapidly evolving AI tooling landscape
