Life360 is a company dedicated to keeping people connected and safe through innovative mobile applications and services. They are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their Growth team, focusing on enhancing design processes and collaborating closely with leadership to optimize user engagement and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Work with AI tools to accelerate the design process and innovate on product designs
- Collaborate closely with Design and Product leadership to define and execute a forward-thinking design strategy that drives MAU, retention, and monetization
- Create and validate design hypotheses through experimentation, leveraging A/B tests and iterative design to optimize performance
- Leverage AI tools actively and fluently to accelerate design exploration, improve quality, and enhance creative output
- Ensure designs are aligned with Life360’s design system, visual language, and interaction patterns
- Create high-fidelity mockups, production-ready screens, and design assets in Figma, Figma AI, Claude, and other AI tools
- Design interactive prototypes to communicate flows, behaviors, and micro-interactions
- Contribute to interaction design and motion concepts, including micro-interactions and transitions
- Support design reviews by tightening visuals, clarifying interactions, and elevating overall quality
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are feasible, clear, and well-documented
- Help maintain and evolve the design system through thoughtful application and feedback
- Ship experiments and features end-to-end leveraging AI tools and workflows
Requirements:
- Around 5 years of product design experience
- Strong AI fluency
- Experience in product design with a portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft, interaction design, and attention to detail, and AI usage
- Mobile-first design experience (iOS and Android experience)
- Deep, hands-on experience with AI design tools
- Strong visual design skills
- Expertise in Figma, including components, Figma AI, auto layout, variants, and prototyping
- Solid foundation in interaction design and user-centered thinking
- A naturally curious mindset and genuine excitement to learn, grow, and develop your craft through collaboration and feedback
- Ability to move fluidly between projects and adapt to different problem spaces
- Comfortable receiving feedback; enjoys collaborating and working with other designers
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive about improving quality
- Familiarity with building or contributing to design systems
