Mobile Modular Management Corporation is focused on innovative, sustainable products and technologies for electric vehicle charging and clean energy solutions. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and developing strategies to achieve growth objectives in the clean energy sector.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate new leads and opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and industry outreach
- Qualify prospects and manage the sales funnel from initial contact to close
- Develop customized proposals based on customer needs and company offerings
- Educate prospective customers on the Company’s EV charging and Energy Solutions, and related products and services
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals and KPIs
- Track and manage all sales activity using CRM (Salesforce) tools
- Build long-term relationships with clients, business owners, facility managers, and commercial developers
- Collaborate with internal teams (construction services, engineering, marketing, customer service, finance) to support deal flow and customer satisfaction
- Represent the Company at trade shows, networking events, and local energy/EV related events
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for growth across B2B, B2C, and government segments, aligning with business objectives and identifying new market opportunities
- Marketing – Lead brand strategy, positioning, and storytelling across channels to drive awareness and demand. Oversee digital marketing, content strategy, events, and campaigns to support product launches and customer acquisition. Ensure consistency in brand voice across customer touchpoints (website, social media, trade shows and press)
- Market Analysis & Expansion: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and growth areas and develop strategies for market penetration and expansion
- Client & Partnership Management: Cultivate relationships with strategic customers (fleet buyers, commercial clients, municipalities, utilities) and partners, lead complex negotiations, and secure strategic alliances to expand reach and accelerate growth. Expand channel and distribution partnerships both domestically and internationally. Identify and close major enterprise and government sales opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience with a track record of success in the EV charging or Renewable Energy technology sectors
- Proven success in cold calling and developing new business from the ground up
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field
- MBA preferred
- Experience scaling revenue at a fast-growing or public company
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, exceed revenue targets and develop and manage sales teams
- Strong understanding of the EV charging industry, Renewable Energy market dynamics, and competitive landscape
- Expertise in B2B and potentially B2C sales models, including managing complex enterprise sales cycles
- Experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving market conditions

- Experience selling EV-related technology, Energy Solutions or solar (commercial or residential) is highly preferred
