Sloane Strategy is a collaborative agency focused on creating exceptional social media platforms and tailored marketing collateral. They are seeking a Sales & Business Development Intern for Summer 2026, where the intern will assist in client acquisition strategy and outreach to help grow the agency's client base.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential client leads across targeted industries
- Build and maintain organized lead lists and outreach trackers
- Assist with cold outreach via email, phone, and other channels
- Support prospecting strategy and local market research
- Help prepare outreach messaging and follow-ups
- Track outreach performance and acquisition progress
- Collaborate directly with the founder on weekly sales priorities
Requirements:
- Actively pursuing a college degree
- Interest in sales, business development, marketing, or entrepreneurship
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable initiating outreach, calling prospects, and starting conversations
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Interested in sales related marketing based products: social media mgmt, web design, etc
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset
- Basic knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
- Basic knowledge of greater Washington, DC area or interested in learning local market
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
