Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to support capital transmission and substation programs within an electric utility or EPC environment. This role involves leading projects through the full lifecycle while ensuring alignment across scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage transmission and substation capital projects through all project phases including initiation, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout
- Develop and maintain project scope, schedule, budget, and resource plans to ensure successful project execution
- Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, procurement, environmental, permitting, and field teams to drive project progress
- Monitor project performance, identify risks or constraints, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and cost targets
- Lead contractor coordination, stakeholder communication, and project status reporting across internal and external teams
- Facilitate project meetings, progress reviews, and issue resolution to maintain alignment across project stakeholders
- Support change management processes, budget forecasting, and schedule recovery planning when required
- Ensure projects comply with safety standards, utility requirements, regulatory guidelines, and quality expectations
Requirements:
- Experience managing transmission, substation, or utility infrastructure projects within an electric utility or EPC environment
- Strong understanding of utility capital project lifecycles, engineering workflows, and construction execution
- Background supporting medium- to large-scale utility programs involving multiple stakeholders and contractors
- Familiarity with project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects within fast-paced utility or EPC programs
- Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SAP, Maximo, or similar project management systems
