Lockheed Martin is a leading technology innovation company, and they are seeking a Full Stack Engineer for their 1LMX Digital Transformation team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications to streamline operational processes and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web applications from front‑end UI to back‑end services
- Learning and exercising best practices and high‑quality code
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable software designs
- Assist in the maintenance and updates of the CI/CD pipeline implementation and ensure secure, reliable deployments
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve application reliability and maintainability
Requirements:
- Experience in full-stack web development with a focus on technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, Redux, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and TypeScript
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or relevant tools
- Knowledge of database design, storage, etc. May include familiarity with the development using Object Relational Mapping (ORM)
- Understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience with security testing
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure, and PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Jest, Mocha) and experience with unit testing and integration testing
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
