About this role
Strong Point is seeking an experienced Principal Full Stack Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of next-generation digital applications. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native solutions integrated with AI/GenAI capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive architecture for scalable, distributed systems and digital platforms
- Lead end-to-end application development across frontend, backend, and data layers
- Establish technical strategy, roadmaps, and engineering best practices
- Design API-first, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- Integrate AI/ML and GenAI capabilities into enterprise applications
- Lead enterprise integrations using APIs, messaging, and streaming technologies
- Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business-critical solutions
Requirements:
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with cloud-native platforms
- Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP and Kubernetes/Docker
- Experience in frontend technologies: Angular, React, TypeScript
- Backend development using Java, Python, or Node.js with REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and API-first design
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience integrating AI/GenAI solutions and working with LLMs
- Strong problem-solving, system design, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance)
- Knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance architectures
- Exposure to MLOps and AI lifecycle management
- Experience with data platforms (SQL/NoSQL, BigQuery, etc.)
- Familiarity with event streaming tools like Kafka
- Master's degree preferred
