Role: Business Analyst / Project Manager (Healthcare IT Disease Surveillance)

We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst / BA PM hybrid to support modernization of state disease surveillance systems. You will lead requirements, workflows, and delivery across IT, epidemiology, and vendor teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead full SDLC efforts from feasibility and design through implementation and postimplementation evaluation
• Create project plans, WBS, schedules, status reports, and maintain project tracking tools
• Own risk, issue, and stakeholder management; coordinate crossdepartment communication and expectations
• Analyze, configure, and support disease surveillance (NEDSS) and related public health systems
• Document and improve business workflows, drive automation and process reengineering initiatives
• Act as liaison between endusers, IT, vendors, and leadership to triage, prioritize, and resolve complex issues
• Produce and maintain clear business, functional, and technical documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s in CS, IS, Systems Analysis, or related field (Master s preferred)
• 8+ years IT systems analysis experience
• 5+ years designing business applications on complex IT systems
• Strong experience in public health, disease surveillance, or government healthcare projects preferred
