CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking a Senior Data Center Network Engineer to support critical network infrastructure across multiple projects. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable data center network solutions while improving network automation and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and support large-scale data center network solutions
- Troubleshoot complex network issues in production environments
- Support and optimize BGP routing and connectivity across large networks
- Work with colocation environments (data center facilities and providers)
- Improve network efficiency through automation and scripting
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high availability and performance
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in large data center or colocation environments
- Strong knowledge of Arista EOS switches (7000 / 7200 / 7300 series)
- Experience with VLANs, VXLAN/EVPN, and modern data center designs
- MLAG / vPC configuration and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Arista CloudVision
- Experience with high-speed networks (100G / 400G) in leaf-spine architecture
- Experience with Cisco Nexus (9000 / 7000 / 5000 series)
- Familiarity with Catalyst and ASR routers
- Experience supporting hybrid Cisco and Arista environments
- Strong understanding of resilient, high-availability network designs
- Deep experience designing and troubleshooting BGP networks
- Route policies, prefix lists, route maps, and communities
- Multi-homing and ISP/data center peering
- Large-scale routing environments (including EVPN)
- Troubleshooting issues like route leaks, flapping, and performance degradation
- Experience working with data center providers (Equinix, Digital Realty, CoreSite, etc.)
- Rack-and-stack, cabling, and cross-connect coordination
- Working with meet-me rooms (MMRs) and remote hands
- Supporting migrations, turn-ups, and troubleshooting in shared facilities
- Understanding of power, space, and infrastructure constraints
- Experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Ansible or similar configuration automation tools
- Working with APIs (Arista eAPI, Cisco NX-API)
- Automation for configuration, provisioning, and monitoring
- Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code concepts
- Palo Alto firewall experience
- SD-WAN technologies (Viptela, Silver Peak, etc.)
