The Account Manager for Pharmaceutical Sales will manage and grow client relationships, develop sales strategies, and ensure customer satisfaction while meeting sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and growing existing client relationships
- Identifying new business opportunities
- Developing and executing sales strategies
- Maintaining a deep understanding of product offerings
- Meeting sales targets
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs
- Negotiating offerings
- Ensuring customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Experience in sales and account management, particularly within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct market research and develop targeted sales strategies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve sales targets
- Experience or knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution process is an advantage
- You have prior success and experience with inside sales working for a generic pharmaceutical distributor
- You have prior relationships with independent retail, LTC, compounding, and specialty pharmacies
