They are seeking a Principal Product & Experience Designer to lead the design of a cohesive, end-to-end customer experience tailored to homebuilders, focusing on activation, adoption, and revenue growth through AI-powered solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design a cohesive, end-to-end experience tailored to the Homebuilder ICP:
- Lead capture and first interaction
- Buyer communication workflows (video, messaging, follow-ups)
- Project and relationship lifecycle touchpoints
- Internal team collaboration experiences
- Translate real-world homebuilder workflows into intuitive, high-value product experiences
- Partner with Product and Engineering to evolve BombBomb into a Homebuilder-specific platform
- Design workflows that reflect how homebuilders actually sell, communicate, and manage relationships
- Reduce complexity while increasing perceived value
- Own the design of the end-to-end migration experience from Classic to BombBomb 3.0, one of BombBomb's most critical business priorities
- Identify and design:
- Missing features and workflows required for customers to successfully transition
- Migration pathways that reduce friction and perceived risk
- In-product experiences that clearly demonstrate the value of BombBomb 3.0 over Classic
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Growth to:
- Prioritize features that unlock migration at scale
- Design experiences that make moving to BombBomb 3.0 intuitive, compelling, and inevitable
- Improve adoption, activation, and retention within the new platform
- Turn migration from a forced initiative into a customer-driven upgrade experience
- Partner with Marketing and Product Marketing to bring BombBomb's Homebuilder positioning and messaging to life through experience
- Design and optimize the website as a high-performing growth asset
- Translate messaging into:
- Clear information hierarchy
- Intuitive page flows
- High-converting user journeys
- Design onboarding experiences tailored to homebuilder workflows
- Help users quickly understand:
- How BombBomb fits into their process
- Where AI enhances their communication
- Reduce friction and accelerate "aha moments"
- Integrate AI into core workflows:
- Message creation
- Follow-ups
- Personalization at scale
- Partner with Marketing to ensure AI capabilities are clearly communicated, and design how they are experienced and adopted in-product
- Create a unified system that supports:
- Product consistency
- Faster iteration
- Cross-functional alignment
- Ensure the system reflects a modern, AI-forward, vertical SaaS brand
- Partner closely with:
- Marketing & Product Marketing (positioning, messaging, campaigns)
- Product (roadmap, prioritization, user workflows)
- Engineering (feasibility and execution)
- Growth (conversion, funnel performance)
- Define and track key experience metrics:
- Time to first value
- Activation rate
- Trial-to-paid conversion
- Feature adoption
- Retention and engagement
- Continuously refine experiences based on data and user feedback
- Own the design and experience of high-impact company communications, including key customer presentations, investor and board materials, and annual reports
- Partner with leadership, Growth, and Marketing to ensure these moments clearly communicate BombBomb's Homebuilder-focused, AI-powered vision and reflect a cohesive, high-quality brand
- Establish templates and scalable systems that elevate quality, drive alignment, and enable teams to move quickly
Requirements:
- 7-10+ years in product design, UX, or experience design
- Experience in Saas at the $10M-$1QOM ARR stage
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product and web experience ownership
- Work tied to measurable business outcomes
- Experience designing for Vertical Saas or Complex, real-world workflows tied to specific industries
- Familiarity with PLG or hybrid GTM models
- Designed products and experiences for specific vertical ICPs (or are excited to go deep into one)
- Owned end-to-end customer journeys, not just product surfaces
- Helped reposition products and translate strategy into experience
- Partnered closely with Marketing or Product Marketing to translate positioning and messaging into high-performing user experiences
- Driven measurable impact on conversion, activation, and retention
- Customer-obsessed and curious about how homebuilders operate
- Highly collaborative and comfortable working across Product, Growth, and Marketing
- Comfortable designing in ambiguous, evolving environments
- Excited about Al as a core experience layer, not a feature add-on
- Experience in homebuilding, real estate, or construction-related industries
- Experience with AI/LLM-powered product design
- Experience repositioning a product toward a new ICP
- Experience building or leading design teams
