Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Director for their Personal Lines Auto Product team to lead efforts in optimizing the end-to-end auto product experience. This role involves guiding a team of analysts to enhance customer engagement and improve retention through data-driven insights and collaboration with various departments.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across USRM to evaluate, test and implement quote flow enhancements that move us toward achieving each channel strategy
- Optimize consumption of prefill data to ensure optimal experience in our quote flow to improve throughput and reduce expenses
- Operationalize risk classification into quoting experience by designing interview questions wording and flow that's tailored to each channel to minimize friction and risk misclassification
- Own logic governing how midterm or renewal transactions are executed to reduce premium leakage and improve retention (e.g., rewrites, rescores, sensitive life events such as Bereavement endorsement)
- Lead and develop a team of analysts and product specialists, ensuring strong analytical rigor, competitive intelligence, and product insight
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in personal lines insurance, preferably auto product management, product development, or strategy
- Knowledge of auto insurance product pricing and coverages
- Strong analytical background with experience using data and market insights to inform product decisions
- Experience collaborating with technology teams to develop business requirements for new capabilities or products
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing or mentoring analysts
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Intellectually curious - excited to solve complex problems and identify new opportunities
- Analytical and technical - able to gather, interpret, and evaluate data across multiple sources; proficient in SAS/Snowflake
- Self-driven with strong organizational skills and proactive follow through
