King's Insurance Staffing is representing a reputable Commercial Lines Insurance Carrier that is expanding their underwriting team. They are seeking a results-driven Senior Commercial Lines Middle Market Production Underwriter to manage a portfolio of middle market accounts and build strong agency relationships to contribute to profitable growth.

Responsibilities:

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of middle market commercial lines accounts to achieve profitability and growth objectives
• Review new and renewal business, analyzing risk exposure, coverage needs, and pricing in alignment with company guidelines
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent agents and brokers to drive new business opportunities
• Provide responsive service and underwriting expertise to agency partners, including guidance on appetite, coverage, and pricing
• Evaluate agency performance and identify opportunities for book growth and retention
• Collaborate with internal teams, including claims, product, and risk control, to ensure effective account management
• Stay informed on market conditions, emerging risks, and competitor activity to adjust underwriting strategies accordingly
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, underwriting guidelines, and internal policies

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Commercial Lines Underwriting, with a focus on middle market accounts
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting practices
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with agents and internal stakeholders
• Ability to make sound underwriting decisions and manage a book of business independently
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field
