Qualcomm is a leading company in the electronics field, and they are seeking a Business Development Account Manager for their e-commerce division. The role involves spearheading the international expansion of Arduino's e-commerce business, focusing on strategy, market assessment, and operational execution to enhance the company’s digital sales channels.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess opportunities for international expansion by analyzing market potential, consumer trends, and regional demand for Arduino solutions
- Define the go-to-market strategy for new regions, including localized marketing approaches, and distribution logistics
- Evaluate and select available e-commerce platforms and third-party solutions to ensure a seamless, localized user experience
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to align on project milestones and deployment timelines
- Coordinate the setup of new storefronts, ensuring compliance with local regulations and integration with internal systems
- Monitor and report on the success of new market entries using KPIs, providing ROI analysis and data-driven recommendations to leadership
- Plan and execute experiments, such as conversion tests and funnel optimizations, to maximize lead generation and sales performance
- Define and lead go to market strategy, including marketing and advertising
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in managing and scaling e-commerce marketplaces (Amazon, Mercado Libre, FlipKart, Tmall, JD, etc.) across different countries and diverse cultures, preferably in Asia or LATAM
- Ability to build rapport and influence internal stakeholders and external partners
- Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple international projects simultaneously with effective time management
- Comfortable working with complex data to justify business decisions and adjust strategies based on performance metrics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
- A self-starter who excels in unstructured environments and can operate effectively across different time zones
- A genuine interest in the Arduino ecosystem and the broader technology landscape
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Previous experience supporting global technology brands
- Experience in a remote-first or multi-national work environment
