They are looking for a patent attorney, patent agent, or patent agent trainee with a strong technical background in engineering to prepare and prosecute patents for domestic and foreign clients while supporting practice needs in related areas.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and prosecution of patents for domestic and foreign clients
• Supporting practice needs in other related areas (e.g., patentability, infringement, and freedom to operate opinions; portfolio strategy and management; due diligence; Patent Trial and Appeal Board issues)

Requirements:

• Minimum BS Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related
• Must have solid understanding of complex AI/ML
• Must have at least 1 year of full-time claim drafting and prosecutions experience
• Demonstrated for producing high-quality patents relating to complex related technologies
• Solid communication interpersonal skills for client interaction
• State bar and USPTO bar
