Business Analyst

Role Overview
The client is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support web application development initiatives. The role involves requirements gathering, business process analysis, SDLC documentation, manual testing, and collaboration with Agile/Scrum development teams to ensure successful application delivery. The job is open to candidates within the 100 miles radius of Richmond, VA.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct project initiation activities to identify business problems, objectives, and application requirements
Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements in an SDLC-compliant format
Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders and technical teams to document decisions and requirements
Define and document business processes and workflows for new or enhanced systems
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings to represent business needs during development activities
Develop and execute system test plans and manual testing activities for web applications
Document defects, bugs, and application issues with sufficient detail for developers to reproduce
Support User Acceptance Testing by assisting with the creation of testing scripts and scenarios
Ensure requirements and documentation meet established standards and are maintained in a repeatable format
