Position: Senior Release Manager

Location: New York. NY
Duration: 6 months assignment with the possibility of conversion to full-time permanent

Duration: Contract- W2

Role Overview

Senior Release Manager to own end-to-end release lifecycle across large-scale, high-volume (40M+ transactions/day) card authorization systems. Will coordinate across 15 20 teams, drive governance, manage release cadence, and align legacy (mainframe) and modern (AWS/EKS) systems.

MUST HAVE:

• 10+ years Release Management
• High-volume transaction environments
• CI/CD (Jenkins, etc.)
• Cross-team coordination (15 20 teams)
• Strong communication & stakeholder alignment
• Release governance & risk management

GOOD TO HAVE:

• Payments/Card (Visa/Mastercard)
• Mainframe + Modern (AWS/EKS)
• Jira, qTest, ALM
• PMBOK / ITIL / SAFe
