Senior Quality Engineer IV

Javen Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead manual and automation testing teams across multiple projects. The role involves test planning, estimation, scheduling, and mentoring team members on testing best practices and automation standards.

Responsibilities:

• Proven experience leading manual and automation testing teams across multiple projects
• Expertise in test planning, estimation, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Strong knowledge of test strategy definition, risk-based testing, and release sign-off
• Hands-on involvement in test design reviews, defect triage, and stakeholder communication
• Experience mentoring and guiding team members on testing best practices and automation standards
• Extensive experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and continuous testing practices
• Hands-on experience in test automation framework design, enhancement, and maintenance
• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, Groovy, SQL, and Gherkin
• Ability to review, optimize, and standardize automation code across teams
• Experience building reusable and maintainable automation components
• Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Skilled in data integrity checks, joins, stored procedures, and reporting validations
• Experience integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Familiarity with Node.js for test execution and build automation
• Proficient in Git, Git Bash, and GitHub for source control and test artifact management
• Extensive experience with qTest and Client ALM for: Test case management, Test execution tracking, Defect lifecycle management
• Experience using HashiCorp Vault for secret and credential management in testing environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to balance hands-on testing with leadership responsibilities
