SaaS Product Designer (Visual Design & Frontend Craft) (Remote)

Files.com is a profitable, founder-led SaaS company powering secure file transfer and automation for numerous well-known brands. They are seeking a SaaS Product Designer who can bridge the gap between design and code, taking concepts from Figma to production-ready React code while creating design systems and collaborating closely with PMs and engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Craft elegant, intuitive flows that make complex workflows feel simple
• Translate personas and use cases into frictionless product experiences
• Take concepts from Figma to production-ready React code
• Build wireframes, prototypes, and run usability tests to validate and refine ideas
• Create menus, tabs, tables, and widgets that are reusable, consistent, and scalable
• Write JSX and advanced CSS in our React codebase — not just hand off
• Document and maintain UI in Storybook.js so that our components scale across teams and features

Requirements:

• Experience in interaction design, crafting elegant and intuitive flows
• Ability to translate personas and use cases into frictionless product experiences
• Proficiency in taking concepts from Figma to production-ready React code
• Experience in building wireframes, prototypes, and running usability tests
• Ability to create reusable, consistent, and scalable UI components
• Proficiency in writing JSX and advanced CSS in a React codebase
• Experience in documenting and maintaining UI in Storybook.js
• Strong visual sensibility and attention to detail
• Ability to balance originality with structure in design
• Comfortable moving between design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite) and production code (React, JSX, CSS)
• Obsessed with creating lasting design systems, component libraries, and repeatable patterns
• Energized by shipping work, gathering feedback, and iterating quickly
