A large, highly regulated financial services enterprise is seeking an Engineer III to support and evolve a mission-critical loyalty and rewards platform. This role focuses on building high-scale, cloud-native services using Golang and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), supporting massive data volumes and global users.
This is a core platform engineering role supporting systems that directly impact customer engagement at scale. You'll work on distributed systems in a compliance-heavy environment, partnering closely with global engineering teams. Ideal for engineers who want ownership, system-level impact, and exposure to modern cloud and AI-assisted development tools without sacrificing work-life balance.
Contract Duration: 6-12 months with ability to convert
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years building cloud-based applications
- 3+ years Golang development
- Strong Google Cloud Platform experience (required)
- Experience with Bigtable, Spanner, or similar managed services
- CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance
- Debugging, troubleshooting, and system optimization experience
- Strong understanding of private and public cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience leveraging AI tools and/or building AI agents
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
