The Opportunity:
Doing DevSecOps well means development and automation. Making tasks repeatable and efficient across multiple environments requires Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), scripting, and sometimes writing applications. Our cloud service broker team is looking for a developer with a strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) infrastructure, containerization, and networking to make new cloud capabilities available in secure environments.
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with software engineering, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with software engineering
* Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire date
* 5+ years of experience building software solutions for secure government cloud environments
* 3+ years of experience implementing IaC using Terraform
* 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions in Google Cloud Platform
* Experience designing and automating the provisioning of Google Cloud Platform resources using IaC and automation tools
* Experience working with Google Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL
* Experience with code management tools such as Git or GitLab, in a collaborative team environment
* Knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, load balancing, VPCs, private connectivity, and TLS
* Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

* Experience building, securing, and optimizing workloads on Google Cloud Platform
* Experience developing, implementing, or maintaining cloud governance controls such as Google Cloud Platform organization policies and IAM best practices
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
